Either the recording or playback technology does not do your efforts justice. I recommend seeking a better recording setup to reproduce the full range of sound you produce. The song is not what I would select for your voice. You have a smooth voice and the rough singing just doesn’t sound right to me. Maybe something like “honesty” by Billy Joel or some ARS if you want to do covers. YOu have a nice voice though and that guitar part is a pain, good job.
