DNDS-832
DNDS-832 – this show was recorded in studio B and we’re snuggling up with all the dogs trying to stay warm. lots of dog talk and then we reveal a super secret plan we’ve been working on. then shortly after we recorded this show, one of our pipes froze and burst in the wall behind the shower. fun times indeed this winter.

I think you guys should do what ever makes you happy. I moved from somewhere that’s hot as hell to somewhere that has seasons and snow. It’s one of the best things I have ever done. You do what’s right for you. It’s your life, not everyone elses. Nay sayers live in fear. And take some Vitamin D! BTW, do you know about steepandcheep.com?

I’m all for you guys moving…. I just moved from the -50 temp prairies, to Vancouver Island (the only place in Canada that has no snow…) If you want to stay in North America, I recommend it, its a paradise full of awesome hippies.

My wife and I moved from northeastern Illinois to California a few years ago. Couldn’t stand the midwestern winters. It’s been a bumpy transition at times, but it’s been worth it. Best of luck to you two, regardless of what path you take.

F- the naysayers. Go where your heart takes you. The only thing I can’t stand about Chicago is the freakin winter. I know several people who live abroad half the year and come back when the weather is nice. If I had any money, that would be me.
Good thing about Costa Rica- apparently you can take the dogs. Most places would make you quarintine them.

I just listened to Dawn make the semi official announcement about the Costa Rica thing and I am not sure I can keep listening. I will of course, but I’m going to probably spend the whole time bawling at this fucking job I can’t stand.
See, I went snorkeling for the first time last July just off the coast of Texas… and have since become obsessed with everything ocean and boats. I thought I wanted to podcast, but then I thought – who wouldn’t want to see a chick in a bikini – on a boat – in the Bahamas?!
Yeah. I am so envious of how easy it is for you two to work together to get things done.
Your totally missed the boat fan,
koda =(
