Trollhunter – A group of students investigates a series of mysterious bear killings, but learns that there are much more dangerous things going on. They start to follow a mysterious hunter, learning that he is actually a troll hunter.

A Norwegian found footage movie that explains the truth about trolls from around the world. Pretty cool CGI for a movie that wasn’t “edited” at all.

Classic Kurt Russel action movie with aliens and flame throwers. You can’t really go wrong with that combo.

The Breakfast Club – Five high school students, all different stereotypes, meet in detention, where they pour their hearts out to each other, and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought.

Amber picked this movie for her birthday and it was a great choice. Classic movie from our youth that still holds up strong today. A must see for all kids about to enter that hell called high school. So many memorable quotes that have become staples in our conversations for decades now. It was a treat to watch it again.

The Hangover Part III – When one of their own is kidnapped by an angry gangster, the Wolf Pack must track down Mr. Chow, who has escaped from prison and is on the lam.

We went to the movies with our wives and decided to record a review right after we left the theater with them. We all had a great time and really enjoyed the movie. It made us all laugh through the whole movie as well as the drunken podcast we recorded afterwards. Spoilers a plenty, but definitely worth seeing.

The Letter – A playwright who begins to mentally unravel cannot decide if she is at the center of a manipulative plot or simply losing her grip on reality.

Spolier Alert… This movie was super lame. Don’t bother watching it, you may want to poke your eyes out. Dawn suggested this to get back at us for The Human Centipede but it was kind of fun just complaining about how bad it was. So listen to the show, but don’t bother watching the movie.

The wives sit in with us tonight as we review this cheesy horror film written and produced by all of our favorite, Joss Whedon. Lots of twists and turns as we figure out what’s going on, and lots of homages from other classic movies in this genre.

Reincarnated – Hip Hop artist Snoop Dogg changes his name to Snoop Lion, travels to Jamaica, emerges himself in Rastafarian culture and produces his first reggae record.

Raging Bitch

We decided to do more of a synopsis of this movie as opposed to our normal spoilage since it’s such a new release. The overall theme is that it’s a very well put together infomercial for the new Snoop Lion album with the same name.

I’m enjoying the new album a lot and decided to do a little track by track review.

2D1F – Death Race 2000

New Belgium Shift Pale Lager

Death Race 2000 – In a dystopian future, a cross country automobile race requires contestants to run down innocent pedestrians to gain points that are tallied based on each kills brutality.

I’m surprised I never saw this movie before and didn’t even realize a young Sly Stallone played such a big part. Super cheesy effects as our crew drives across the country in what look to be hopped up go carts, racing to the finish, killing people and scoring points along the way.

2D1F – Betty Blue

Betty Blue – A woman who is prone to irrational bouts of fury begins a steamy romance with a handyman and writer in this Oscar-nominated drama. Eventually, her psychological scars begin to wreak havoc on their relationship.

Wild Blue Blueberry Lager

If it wasn’t for all the titties and near porno action, there’s no way I could have sat through two hours of this wandering movie. Even after 2 hours it really didn’t make a whole lot of sense. We start out with some pretty serious screwing and get to see Betty’s boobs and Zorgs junk throughout the flick. They go on some adventures but it all revolves around Betty going more and more nuts, until the end when we find out that Zorg is more nutty then we thought.
